Samsung Galaxy Ace Pro Reviews

ITreviews‘s review Edit

The Samsung Galaxy Ace offers a range of compromises that help it reach a middle-of-the-range pricepoint. Whether it suits you will depend on how you want to use your smartphone, and it's well to scout round for best buys at this price.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

The Galaxy Ace is a mid-range Android smartphone that offers a slick user experience, but it's overpriced compared to its rivals.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

The Samsung Galaxy Ace isn't as spectacular as its name suggests but it is a competent budget smartphone. As ever, the Orange San Francisco makes for a compelling alternative thanks to its larger, higher resolution screen, but the Ace has a nicer design, faster processor and better camera.

A smart design, colourful screen and decent camera make the Ace an attractive phone, but it has limited room for apps and lacks the Motorola Defy's large screen.

Pocket-lint‘s review Edit

Ultimately, if multimedia isn’t important to you, then the Samsung Galaxy Ace offers the flexibility of Android effectively and in a clear and hassle-free package. But the Galaxy Ace doesn’t really offer up anything truly distinctive outside its good looks. For some that might just be enough, but others might be drawn to slick interface highlights elsewhere.

GSMArena‘s review Edit

We’ve been all over the Android midrange and the Samsung Galaxy Ace makes even more sense. It’s holding middle ground in an increasingly segmented smartphone market. There’s plenty of space between lower and higher midrange, between a Galaxy Mini and a Galaxy SL. It feels safe to be right in the middle – and it feels good to have all that space to itself. The Galaxy Ace is not a power player but it’s keen to play.

Phone Arena‘s review Edit

Finally, for a mid-range Android, the Galaxy Ace really ups the game with its 3.5-inch screen. However, it fails in two main areas – video recording and Flash support. If it were for these alone, the Galaxy Ace would still be a pretty strong contender, but the below average calling quality, is what swung the balance for us.

Geeky Gadgets‘s review Edit

The Samsung Galaxy Ace is designed to be a budget Android smartphone, and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised with it, as it has a range of features that you would expect in a more expensive Android device.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

But for the price point it comes in at, The Galaxy Ace certainly does stack up against the competition - we're not sure if it can weather the forthcoming budget Android storm (and it will certainly fall against the rumoured iPhone Nano) but for an attractive device with a decent Android overlay, you won't be disappointed with the Samsung Galaxy Ace.

letsgomobile‘s review Edit

Samsung Mobile is aiming - with full force - on smartphone market share and act so not without success. Especially the new line-up of Samsung Galaxy smartphones receive a lot of attention. Not so long ago Samsung Mobile introduced the Galaxy Ace smartphone, a new Android smartphone targeted on a hip, lifestyle influenced public. The Samsung Galaxy Ace mobile phone is equipped with a digital camera and a build-in LED flash. The resolution is five Megapixels, sufficient to update Facebook and other social media channels with an up-to-date picture or video clip. The new Samsung Galaxy Ace phone offers a LED flash to brighten the subject, but the effect of this LED flash is rather limited.
