MSI R6950 Twin Frozr II Pro Reviews

www.pcper.com‘s review Edit

MSI’s Twin Frozr II version takes the reference design and brings it up a notch. The extra cooling and decreased fan noise is sure to please a lot of users out there, and it certainly impressed me. It is unfortunate that MSI decided to forego the BIOS switch, as it would have made the card much more interesting to users who are willing to spend the extra money and potentially mod this card into something more powerful. MSI did hit their goals of producing a slightly faster card with outstanding cooling.

The HD 6950 Twin Frozr II shows us why we love this series so much. Not only does it run a lot cooler than the reference designed AMD offering, but it's also a little quieter. To be cooler is great, but to be cooler while also being slightly quieter is just fantastic, and that's what makes this series so great.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

Things are sure getting crowded out there in the graphics world, with a card hitting just about every price point. Basically no matter what spare change you've got rattling around in your pocket there's a card available for that exact number.

techPowerUp!‘s review Edit

Pricewise, MSI's card comes at a hefty premium of $30, I'm really having a hard time finding anything that could justify that price increase, other than the visual difference from the Twin Frozr II cooler, which delivers slightly improved temperatures but not much else.
