As we know, the Motorola XOOM tablet hasn't exactly been selling like gangbusters since it was released earlier this year. The mascot for Google's Android 3.1 Honeycomb tablet OS has been faced with a lot of criticism from the press and lackluster interest from the public. In light of that, Motorola has announced that is cutting $100 off the price of the Wi-Fi -only version of the XOOM tablet, which can now be had for $499. That sum buys you a 32GB, 10.1-inch, dual-core-powered tablet with two cameras.
