LG INFINIA 50PZ950 Pro Reviews

PC World‘s review Edit

The LG Infinia 50PZ950 is a good-looking 1080pHDTV with pretty good picture quality. The LG Smart TV platform, Magic Motion remote, and optional iOS/Android QWERTY keyboard app make this television tempting for people who want to do more than just watch TV. For people who aren't looking for additional options, however, the TV may be too complicated--the menus can be overwhelming, and the initial setup guide is barely there.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

LG's plasma TVs have been coming along nicely for the past three or four years. Yet while the LG 50PZ950T has greatly ramped up its online service from last year's equivalent model, it hasn't advanced as far in picture performance as the latest plasma TVs from Samsung and Panasonic, making it tough to wholeheartedly recommend unless you manage to find one substantially discounted somewhere. Unfortunately, with so much competition in the 3D plasma arena this year, LG's 50PZ950T is neither good enough nor cheap enough to wholeheartedly recommend.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

While the 50PZ950 talks a good talk in feature terms and its pictures certainly have their moments, overall its image quality doesn’t keep up with the high plasma pace set by Samsung and Panasonic this year. LG also needs to get to grips with its input lag issues if it’s going to start satisfying TrustedReviews’ gaming obsessions...

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

Although blessed with solid features, design, and performance, the LG PZ950 series can't match the excellent picture quality of other plasmas in its price range.

AVForums‘s review Edit

The LG 50PZ950T ultimately just falls short of an AVForums award for having too many niggles and caveats to gain a great picture from it. Black levels are weak, particularly for a plasma, and up close suffer from dancing green pixels. Performance in daytime conditions is, ironically, hampered by the TruBlack filter showing its composition on images.
