ASUS N53SV Pro Reviews

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

A versatile machine that handles gaming, multimedia and productivity tasks equally well, the Asus N53SV offers excellent value and decent build quality. Its looks err on the serious side a bit more than is strictly necessary, but its design remains cohesive resulting in a good-looking laptop. The screen's nothing special, but the rest of what's on show makes this mid-range laptop a highly attractive buy.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

Although lugging the N53SV-SX303V around with you isn't recommended due to the bulky and heavy chassis, it makes a great desktop replacement machine for the creative enthusiast. Tons of power and excellent dedicated graphics make short work of even the most demanding design suites.

The N53S is a well-designed, well-built laptop that's packed with features including a large hard disk and a Blu-ray drive.

In the end, the ASUS N53SV is a nice notebook for the right user. It’s not the lightest, best performing, or cheapest notebook you can get. The ASUS N53SV is a well-rounded performer that deserves a look if you are in the market for a notebook that can do it all pretty well.

If speed is your passion, you'll like this all-purpose unit from Asus, but its input ergonomics are weak.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

The Asus N53SV has some excellent features. The price performance ratio is nice, and it's never been whacked with an ugly stick. If the minor keyboard issues don't bother you, it's worth a look.

Notebookcheck‘s review Edit

The balancing act between excellent performance reserves and nevertheless acceptable emissions combined with an adequate battery life is accomplished with Nvidia's Optimus. We find it regrettable that cutbacks have apparently been made in the display. A higher contrast and wider color spectrum would have been the icing on the attractive bundle. The price with which the notebook will be launched onto the market will ultimately be the decisive aspect. If it remains within the range of 1000 euro, the N53SV could turn out to be a much desired all-round laptop.
