BIOSTAR TP67XE Ver. 5.x Pro Reviews

bit-tech‘s review Edit

The Biostar TP67XE(B3) is a capable motherboard at a reasonable price, but that isn’t enough to make it stand out in the busy P67 marketplace. Its mediocre looks and below-average overclocking potential also count against it. As a result, we can’t recommend it over boards such as the MSI P67A-GD53(B3), which now costs the same amount of money, looks better and offers superior overclocking abilities.

xbitlabs‘s review Edit

Biostar TP67XE is just an inexpensive mainboard with the functionality matching its price point. It is obviously behind the mainstream, not to mention high-end solutions. We were mostly upset about the reduced BIOS functionality and some obvious issues in it, failure to overclock the CPU to its maximum, as well as somewhat outdated proprietary software bundled with the board. At the same time, the board is pretty good from the overall standpoint. It has a good accessories bundle, it is very well designed, supports all contemporary functions and interfaces, but is not overloaded with additional controllers. It works well in nominal mode and even allows overclocking processors.

There are some motherboards out there that will offer more features than the BIOSTAR TP67XE. There are none that have come across my bench that will offer you more bang for your buck! The BIOSTAR TP67XE will make a great mainboard for any level user out there today!

hardwaresecrets‘s review Edit

The Biostar TP67XE will be a good option for users looking for a mainstream socket 1155 motherboard with some extra features, such as USB 3.0 ports, on-board optical and coaxial SPDIF outputs, FireWire ports, POST diagnostics display, infrared interface, and a decent voltage regulator circuit. Biostar motherboards are typically offered at a great price, and we can anticipate that the TP67XE will come with a good cost/benefit ratio for users building a mainstream PC based on a next-generation Intel CPU.
