The ASRock P67 Pro3 isn't back to shipping in large quantities yet since the Intel chipset recall, but this modestly priced motherboard should be back on the market from most Internet retailers in the coming weeks. The retail price on the motherboard should still be around $130 USD, which makes it one of the more modestly priced P67 motherboards. While the price may be less than some P67 motherboards from the likes of ASUS, MSI, and Gigabyte, it offers a good feature set with all of the core features (USB 3.0, SATA 3.0, PCI-E 2.0 x16, etc) plus modest overclocking abilities and should work with the latest Linux distributions.

The ASRock P67 Pro3 is definitely a mainstream product; there are other ASRock P67 boards with more features. At US$124, it's also the least expensive, though one does have to make do with fewer features, including a single PCIe 2.0 x16 slot. To some users, this is more than sufficient, but to others, it will feel like an option has been taken away from them. On the plus side, ASRock's EFI BIOS looks like a winner. Unfortunately, its mediocre performance and lack of features mean we won't recommend it unless you're on a really tight budget.

Even though the ASRock P67 Pro3 is the most inexpensive socket 1155 motherboards based on the Intel P67 chipset, it brings a good array of features that will please most users: two USB 3.0 ports, two SATA-600 ports, eSATA-600 port, on-board SPDIF optical and coaxial connectors, POST diagnostics display, a decent voltage regulator circuit, compatibility with socket 775 CPU coolers, and more.
