Genius GHP-04NC Pro Reviews

expertreviews‘s review Edit

The design looks more PC peripheral than personal audio, but it does have a well-padded headband and two comfy, properly articulated ear cups. It’s powered by two AAA batteries, with one stowed away in each cup. There's a power switch at the base of the right side, but flipping it creates a painfully loud pop followed by poorly-suppressed circuit noise.

A pair of on-ear noise-cancelling headphones for just £30? Could they really be any good? There’s no arguing with the noise-cancelling – you’ll need a AAA battery in each ear for up to 50 hours of use – but the sound is woolly, lacking in clarity and with nasty hard edges to some frequencies.
