I have been loving my Christmas present. Had an old Zune and it met my needs. The new Zune is such a pleasure to use. The UI is soppose to be a model for the new Windows mobile. If it is I hope Verizon gets that fast. I am ready to upgrade and now am waiting for this. The apps are not there, the browser needs flash. The updates are slow in development, but for a good basic device.

The hardware of the Zune HD is very powerful and it would be great if the software really uses it! I'd love to see some GREAT apps, as with the iPhone/iPod Touch.

I will be getting this very soon! I really love the screen and how nice it is! I also like the Zy=une sofeware and how you can get unlimited music for $15 a month!

I have also thought about buying one... but I am not an avid music listener... the radio for my commute is good enough for me. I am mainly just a techie who likes gadgets so I am afraid to buy this as I don't think I would use it that often. But I really want it... lol

This is actually a great device without the apps or the flesh enabled browser. For anybody not buying an iTouch/Phone, it should be assumed that any other product isn't going to excel in the app world and flash would probably strain the battery.

what really need for this Zune is some killer apps like iPhone/iPod touch had, maybe some cool games using the technology of Zune & HD can be used for grat 3D games.

Bambang is right on the money with this product. It needs to be able to support applications that compete with the iTouch.

i agree it's a good device, no were near an ipod touch killer. really just nice to see them step into the touch market of PMD
