EVGA nForce 790i SLI FTW Pro Reviews

hardocp‘s review Edit

The EVGA 790I SLI FTW is a good motherboard. It however is not the great motherboard that we were truly expecting. And while our expectations were high for this product, even backing away and looking at it through our normal enthusiast goggles (they did nothing) the motherboard just seems to come up a bit short. The FTW branding and digital power management screamed “OC me till I let the smoke out!” However what we got was overclocking to levels that are the norm for any motherboard in our world.

HEXUS‘s review Edit

The near-perfect board layout is about as good as it gets, and an array of tweaking options provide overclocking potential that should - with the right additional components - make for record-breaking benchmark attempts.

HotHardware‘s review Edit

The overal performance offered by the EVGA nForce 790i SLI FTW Digital PWM met our expectations. What we didn't expect was the alternating victories between the EVGA nForce 790i SLI FTW Digital PWM and the Intel X38 Express motherboard. In many of our tests, the EVGA board performs right on par with the Intel X38 board. In some other tests, however, the EVGA board outperforms the Intel X38 and vice versa.
