Casio Green Slim XJ-A250 Pro Reviews

projectorreviews‘s review Edit

Last year, the Casio we reviewed, struggled, brightness wise. It came in well below claim, and from a percentage standpoint, it missed target by the highest percentage. Not so this year. Despite hints from Casio, that again this year, during normal measurements, the XJ-A250V would probably again come up a good deal short, though definitely better than last year. For that reason, I was pleasantly surprised, with the projector down just about 16 percent from claim, better than a number of others in the Education report.

ProjectorCentral‘s review Edit

The Casio XJ-A250 delivers a unique set of benefits and limitations. It's super slim profile certainly makes it convenient to pack, and a 20,000 hour light source eliminates the concern about lamp replacement cost. The long 2x zoom lens affords some set up convenience that is missing on most mobile projectors. Many will buy it for these three benefits alone. The XJ-A250 offers you a trade-off...increased convenience and a 20,000 hour light source in exchange for lower lumen output than advertised, and image quality that is adequate to the task, but not among the best. Each buyer will determine whether that trade-off is worth it.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The Casio Green Slim XJ-A250 is brighter than the first Green Slim models but uses the same hybrid light source designed to last the life of the projector.
