Panasonic HDC-SD9 Pro Reviews

Camcorderinfo‘s review Edit

The Panaosnic HDC-SD9 will appeal to those who want a camcorder to fit their tech-chic lifestyle. It’s extremely compact, solid state, and high definition – three assets that will serve it well with teh jet set crowd. The improvements since the first generation are impressive: now recording in full 1920 x 1080 with an increased bit rate of 17Mbps, a more powerful image optical stabilizaiton system, and cool features like the Pre-Record function.

computershopper‘s review Edit

Super-small and offering great video quality for well-lit subjects, the HDC-SD9 is a very good camcorder that records in a hard-to-edit format.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

At 2.64 by 2.56 by 4.96 inches (HWD), the HDC-SD9 is one is the trimmest full-fledged camcorders we've tested, but its design isn't perfect...

Wired‘s review Edit

Despite being released back in January of this year, the 1920 x 1080, 10x optical zoom SD9 is (still) the top performer. Touted by Panasonic as the world's smallest full HD cam, its slimmed down profile makes it a real winner with the portability crowd.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

Despite its trio of CCDs, the video quality and performance of the Panasonic HDC-SD9 are a bit too inconsistent.
