ECS Elitegroup P35T-A (V1.0) Pro Reviews

xbitlabs‘s review Edit

Take, for instance, ECS P35T-A mainboard we discussed today. The mainboard made a pretty neutral impression: it doesn’t push you away, but also doesn’t really attract at the same time. It cannot overclock very well, but it works fine in nominal mode. It boasts pretty modest set of features and accessories bundle, but offers acceptable PCB design and is free from noisy fans. There is nothing we could really complain about, but at the same time, not much to praise, either.

HotHardware‘s review Edit

However, if you to overclock, the basic BIOS configuration will certainly limit one’s abilities to push this board as far as it can go. We’re also disappointed that ECS didn’t fully utilize the onboard audio functionality like Gigabyte has (they use the same audio chip onboard). Overall though, this board has a very solid feature set for its price tag, and just flat out works.

TechSpot‘s review Edit

The P35T-A is the only motherboard included in the roundup that uses the ICH9DH southbridge chip. The ICH9DH is a stripped-down version of ICH9R with no RAID support while featuring all six SATA ports. Also like the ICH9 the ICH9DH features support for a total of twelve USB 2.0 ports rather than the ten offered by the ICH9R southbridge chip.
