Brother HL-4570CDW Pro Reviews

PC Pro‘s review Edit

A sizeable printer capable of delivering a good number of pages, but poor photo quality lets it down.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

Despite somewhat below-par photo quality, the Brother HL-4570CDW delivers an impressive combination of speed, output quality, and paper handling for a small office or workgroup.

The Brother HL-4570cdwt is a highly functional device with only very small issues coming up during our review. I think the biggest issue we had was that I couldn't get the HL-4570cdwt to recognize a Microsoft Word document when using the front side USB port. Which is pretty small when you think about all the features that did work: print speeds up to 30 ppm, a solid Toner Saver mode, quality prints, automatic duplexing, a large monthly duty cycle, dual paper drawers and a 50-sheet multipurpose tray, the list goes on and on. I'm not sure about a home office, but I would definitely recommend the Brother HL-4570cdwt to a small or medium business in need of a fully functional printer.

PC World‘s review Edit

Competitive in speed and features, but not photo quality, the HL-4570CDW small-business laser printer is best for mainstream use.

computershopper‘s review Edit

This moderately priced color laser delivers very good text print quality and multipage print speeds for small or home offices. Graphics prints and first-page-out speeds were subpar, however.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

The Brother HL-4570CDW has the speed and features to stand up to the rigours of a small to medium-size office. It's less adept at printing photos, as many midpriced models are.

ITreviews‘s review Edit

Brother has particularly championed the HL-4570CDWT's print speeds but we found them to be intermittent and slower than claimed overall. While the duplex facility and mono print quality are to be applauded, colour reproduction is disappointingly dark.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

Like its cheaper sibling, Brother’s HL-4570CDW is a solid, workgroup colour laser. It's a bit quicker and includes wireless networking support, but the £130 difference between the two models still seems a bit steep. The print speed is fine, duplex print is useful and the running costs are lower than before, but colour print is too dark by default and settings may need tweaking if you want to get reasonably accurate tints for photos.
