Samsung Zeal Pro Reviews

phonedog‘s review Edit

In all, I was mildly pleased with the Zeal, but after considering that Samsung didn't do anything to update the phone, I was disappointed. As a consumer, I would not want to pay full-price for a phone that is essentially a year old. The e-ink technology was cool, but it turned out to be not very practical. The Zeal is available for $79.99 as of the writing of this review. Is it worth it? Possibly, if you simply like having a device that stands out and doesn't fit into the usual mold. In terms of usage and and everyday practicality though, I would recommend looking into something else.

Phone Arena‘s review Edit

Back in the spring of 2009 we proclaimed the Alias 2 the coolest non-touch phone on Verizon. While that exception has grown much, much larger with the introduction of Android on Big Red, we might very well agree with this. With such a stagnant feature phone market the Zeal and its trick keyboard still very much has a place in Verizon’s lineup.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

Fans of the Samsung Alias 2 should love the Samsung Zeal's identical convertible flip design and e-ink keyboard. However, if you're not open to a learning curve, the Zeal has little new to offer.
