ECS Elitegroup H55H-CM (V1.0) Pro Reviews

hardwaresecrets‘s review Edit

ECS H55H-CM is definitely an entry-level motherboard for Core i3 and Core i5 processors with integrated video. What it lacks in features compared to other H55-based motherboards, it gains in price. So if you are trying to save the maximum you can and don’t mind its limited (but adequate for the regular user that will only run office-style applications and access the Internet) number of features, this is probably one of your best bets.

HardwareZone‘s review Edit

While we don't have a street price for the ECS H55H-CM, we estimate that it should be less than US$100, with a price lower than quite a few of its competitors. After all, the feature set on this board is fairly basic, with some legacy choices that may find a niche group of users still attached to such older devices. Besides some minor layout issues, this board should suit mainstream users who are not too particular about getting the best and latest technologies.

TechSpot‘s review Edit

The ECS H55H-CM is the only H55 motherboard in this roundup to utilize an Intel Gigabit controller. The Intel 82578DC was released last year and is designed to be used with the Intel 5 series chipsets for desktop computers. It's surprising that more manufacturers don't use Intel network solutions.
