Huawei IDEOS S7 Slim Pro Reviews

tabletpcreview‘s review Edit

Huawei Ideos S7 Slim is an elegant tablet designed to entice customers with its price, above all other features. It is not as technically enhanced as the most expensive and more popular 7-inch tablets, but compared to the basic models, which are frequently launched by other less famous manufacturers from China, it is far more modern, faster and pleasant for usage. The S7 Slim comes with an abundant set of applications, a solid hardware base, an average display and exceptional Internet connection options. However, while making the decision on its purchase, apart from the appealing price, one has to consider that it is quite heavy, can only be used in the portrait position and its response to finger movements for multi-touch is slow.

ITreviews‘s review Edit

The Huawei S7 may be a case of too little, too early. With Android 3.0-toting tablets - and plenty of them - just around the corner, Huawei could have jumped the gun with its S7.

reghardware‘s review Edit

With Samsung's Galaxy Tab and Apple's Wi-Fi/3G iPad both going for around £530, the £280 S7 is fair value. Of course, compared to the iPad, the S7 is really just a big Android phone, and it's not as technically advanced as the Galaxy Tab, but I'm not entirely sure either device is better to the tune of £250. I'd personally still be inclined to wait until a proper tablet-optimised version of Android appears before taking the plunge, but I can't imagine that anyone who got an S7 for Christmas was too disappointed.
