Motorola has announced a new smartphone for the Chinese market that borrows heavily from its existing ATRIX design for AT&T. The MT870 is a dual-core powered device with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and Motorola's custom, don't-call-it-MOTOBLUR, interface.
The MT870 has the same 4-inch, qHD (540 x 960 pixel) display as the ATRIX, and each core of the processor runs at 1GHz, just like the ATRIX. The camera on the MT870 has been upgraded to record 1080p HD (1920 x 1080 pixel) video, though Motorola did not specify the resolution of the still shots.
