ASRock does a great job of bringing great performing boards at great prices to the end user. This board is another example of that. If you are looking for an upgrade to a board that will not be used for overclocking, but could be upgraded to an SLI setup, this would be a board to consider on a list of many others.

The provenance of the nForce 740i SLI chipset is vague to say the least and in the case of the ASRock N7AD-SLI it misses the mark as SLI support is decidedly shaky.

The ASRock N7AD-SLI is a $100 USD motherboard that is SLI compatible, supports all of the latest Intel LGA-775 Core 2 processors , offers six Serial ATA 2.0 ports, provides IEEE-1394a Firewire, Gigabit LAN , S/PDIF outputs, and uses all solid capacitors.
