ASRock 880G Extreme3 Pro Reviews

www.legitreviews.com‘s review Edit

This is one heck of a board! It not only has great value in features and performance, but it overclocks like no $100 board should! The ASRock 880G Extreme3 is certainly worthy of our Value Award!

It's a great board at a reasonable price, but you can get more features for the same amount of money elsewhere.

The ASRock 880G Extreme3 was a good performing board. We saw solid performance for most tasks with a few exceptions that were more related to the CPU used than anything else. At only $105.99 at the time of writing over at NewEgg.com, the 880G Extreme3 is a good deal. When you add the performance with SATA 3.0, USB 3.0 and Tri Crossfire support, the pennies do add up.

As time has passed, ASRock continues making motherboards cheaper than the competition, but their motherboards continue to become more and more appealing with their greater set of features and capabilities. Both the ASRock 880G Extreme3 and 890FX Deluxe3 are impressive products with both boasting more than enough Serial ATA 3.0, eSATA 3.0, and USB 3.0 ports while also boasting plenty of PCI Express slots, a modest and easy set of overclocking functions from the BIOS, heatpipe cooling, and other great features.
