ASRock G43Twins-FullHD Pro Reviews

phoronix‘s review Edit

Aside from the integrated graphics problems on Linux, the ASRock G43Twins-FullHD was a fine motherboard. This motherboard provides both DDR2 and DDR3 memory support to allow for a gradual and easy upgrade process, has integrated Gigabit Ethernet, supports all of the modern Intel LGA-775 CPUs, and has six Serial ATA 2.0 ports. At a price of under $90 USD, the ASRock G43Twins-FullHD is also a very affordable motherboard.

The ASRock G43Twins-FullHD is a great board for those who are on a tight budget but still want a lot of great features. It supports all of the modern hardware out there making it worthy contender in the battle of features vs. price. The 4GB of memory issue was not something I expected to see, but it only a BIOS update fix away I'm sure. The included DVI / DisplayPort card make it a good choice for a HTPC. The onboard video is acceptable for video playback and light gaming. For a first time builder or someone looking to build a secondary computer this board has the features that most people are looking for as long are you aren't looking to overclock it much.
