ASRock H55M Pro Pro Reviews

bit-tech‘s review Edit

As it is, the ASRock H55M Pro is only worth considering if you don’t intend to overclock it; a suitable home for maybe a work, media or family PC. It puts in a brave effort for a great price.

AnandTech‘s review Edit

If you're after cheap and cheerful, the ASRock H55M-Pro will get the job done. The remaining quirks are a matter of overclocking preferences and overclocking functionality more than anything else. The current release BIOS has not given us any issues in normal usage scenarios at all so far and seems to make for a very stable PC build.

tweaktown‘s review Edit

ASRock has impressed us in the past with their commitment to providing power at a reasonable price. The H55M Pro is not an exception to this impression. Although it is obviously an entry level offering, it still manages to give good performance and overclocking potential. There are some items I would like to have seen, though, and I hope they will show up in future BIOS revisions.

HardwareZone‘s review Edit

The ASRock H55M Pro is what we have come to expect from the vendor, unpredictable and affordable. The appearance may not be as polished as other brands and the layout could be a bit better but it has a decent set of features and best of all, a price point below a psychologically important US$100 mark. In terms of value, the Gigabyte with its better features and reasonable price probably equals the ASRock, but we felt that the ASRock deserves it, our Most Value for Money Award.

TechSpot‘s review Edit

The complete lack of DVI support is disappointing, and you can forget about other features such as Firewire and eSATA. The H55H-CM was also a very poor overclocker, which doesn't say much about the board's build quality. While it could be argued that this is meant as an affordable solution, this reasoning falls flat when you consider the Asrock H55M Pro carries the same price tag and offers significantly more features -- and better ones at that.
