MSI K9N2 Diamond Pro Reviews

hardocp‘s review Edit

Dan and I had much difference experiences when it comes to the MSI K9N2 Diamond. There is just no way I can suggest using this motherboard after my personal experiences with it; Dan sees another side of the K9N2. I would highly consider fully reading at least this conclusion page if you are looking to purchase one.

We'll have to wait a week or two to see HybridSLI in action. In the meantime the K9N2 Diamond looks promising but there's no hiding the fact that Phenom cannot match Core 2 Duo for performance.

ITreviews‘s review Edit

HybridSLI is an intriguing feature of the 780a chipset but there's no getting away from the fact that serious gamers are unlikely to select a Phenom processor. Having said that, if you're determined to wed Phenom with SLI graphics then this is the way to do it.

HotHardware‘s review Edit

The MSI K9N2 Diamond's BIOS is fairly extensive and falls somewhere in between the M3N-HT Deluxe and CrossHair II Formula in terms of options. There are a myriad of overclocking related tools listed in the Cell Menu section of the BIOS, which include voltage, frequency and multiple adjustments, and options for tuning memory and integrated peripherals are available as well.
