MSI P7N SLI Platinum Pro Reviews

hardocp‘s review Edit

MSI has a solid “enthusiast” motherboard in the P7N SLI Platinum. At $145 after $20MIR, the price is hard to argue with as well. I would highly suggest making sure you have the latest BIOS though as some of the early ones where not very OC friendly. As you can see here, the E8500 is probably not the best selection for a budget build if you are going to overclock the CPU. You can however pick up an OEM E8200 for $180 which would likely get you to the 3.1GHz mark quickly on this motherboard.

HardwareZone‘s review Edit

The MSI P7N SLI Platinum has shaped up to be a well built successor to last year's P6N SLI Platinum, with enough improvements over the standard chipset features to make it an interesting option for consumers.
