ZOTAC H55ITX-C-E Pro Reviews

expertreviews‘s review Edit

The first Core i3/i5/i7 mini-ITX board, it's well designed for media center use but application performance isn't quite up to scratch.

AnandTech‘s review Edit

Due to an innovative design, a potential for miniscule power consumption and the fact that the H55-ITX is currently the only mini-ITX motherboard on the market that supports the Core i3’s integrated graphics, the ZOTAC H55-ITX WiFi has no competition for the time being.

xbitlabs‘s review Edit

Today, when chipsets incorporate nearly all necessary features, eliminating the need for lots of additional controllers, the benefits of compact form-factors, such as mini-ITX, become apparent. Zotac H55-ITX WiFi is a vivid example of how a small mainboard can be a foundation of a full-featured multifunctional modern computer if its developer wants to fully meet the requirements of a potential user.

ITreviews‘s review Edit

Generally speaking you pay a higher price for a small form factor motherboard than you do for a regular model, but when it comes to the Zotac H55-ITX WiFi the price is very reasonable. While the Zotac wouldn't make much sense for a hardcore gamer, we feel it could form the basis of a high performance PC that is small, cool and quiet.

benchmarkreviews‘s review Edit

The performance of the Zotac H55ITX-C-E was very good. The motherboard proved to have nothing to ask against the competition, performing similar (sometimes faster, sometimes slower) in every benchmark test. Not everything is that good though, I had some problems when overclocking the CPU; the motherboard wasn't able to recover after a failed POST, and I had to do a clear CMOS. That wouldn't be that bad if they included a profile manager in the BIOS, but they don't. Any other feature and port performed really well, and I had no troubles to make everything run under Windows 7 OS.
