Foxconn 925XE7AA-8EKRS2 Pro Reviews

mbreview‘s review Edit

This isn’t to say that the board doesn’t need improvement. The next big area where I see Foxconn improving is their system BIOS. If Foxconn wants to succeed in the high-end market, they need to address the needs and wants of the enthusiast. This means adding a wider range of voltages for the RAM as well as for the VCore and System. Also, Foxconn needs to allow for further tweaking of memory timings so that the end user can squeeze out every last bit of performance. If Foxconn can do this, and keep all of the other advancements they’ve made since the last time we worked with one of their products, the future looks bright for the Foxconn motherboard brand.

The Foxconn 925XE7AA motherboard is loaded with features and is extremely similar to other "big name" high-end motherboards using the same chipset. Foxconn motherboards are usually less expensive than the competition, sometimes by a considerable amount. The amount of hard drives this motherboard can support may seem a little excessive to some, but with the explosive growth of music and video on the PC storage demands are ever-increasing. This board would even make an excellent foundation for a server with its dual gigabit Ethernet capabilities.
