Dell 1350cnw Pro Reviews

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

Print quality: fine. Print speed: reasonable. Size: better than most. Serviceability: excellent. It was all going so well for the 1350cnw until it came to running costs. Do you really want to pay 17p for every colour page you print, particularly when business-level inkjet printers offer the same thing for under 10p?

This compact printer is simple to use and produces great results - but it's very expensive to run

printercomparison‘s review Edit

The 1350cnw is extremely compact, produces good quality printouts, and has Wi-Fi connectivity. It was fairly simple to set up the wireless using the Dell embedded web server and comes with useful software that can make things like diagnosing issues and ordering supplies simple. However, there were a few turn-offs. The control panel (LCD) on the 1350cnw is very difficult to use, and proved frustrating while we attempted to change the printers' settings. Dell tries to rectify this by providing an embedded web server (and software, somewhat) but some people may not know how to use the web server. Moreover, the advertised print speeds were not accurate, and the real print speeds were only average.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

If you print a high volume of monochrome and color documents, the Dell 1350cnw color laser printer delivers strong results with a variety of wired and wireless networking options. As long as you're patient with its sluggish output speed and small LED screen, we recommend the Dell 1350cnw for use in a small business or home office.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

The Dell 1350cnw could be attractive to small offices or workgroups because of its connectivity and its impressive print quality for the price. But overpriced toner and the lack of automatic duplexing make it penny-wise and pound-foolish.

The Dell 1350cnw Color LED Printer is small enough to fit on a desk and capable enough to serve the needs of a micro or small office.

This capable $299 color LED printer is workgroup-friendly and compact. Using it, though, can be pricey if it's not configured correctly

PC World‘s review Edit

The Dell 1350cnw color printer is distinctive for using LED technology instead of the more-common laser to create crisp results, as well as for including wireless connectivity (a still somewhat unusual feature among office printers). Priced at just $330 (as of September 29, 2010), it makes color output seem attainable even for a budget-strapped small office or workgroup. Unfortunately, exorbitant toner costs make this printer a bad long-term investment.
