Foxconn Bloodrage Pro Reviews

bit-tech‘s review Edit

At the end of the day, this is the best Foxconn motherboard we've ever seen. Period. Finally, Foxconn has a competitive product - the Blood Rage is an over-engineered and power hungry beast of a product that excels in build quality, design ideals and was perfectly stable for us. However, its core performance doesn't hit the mark when there's so much competition out there. If you don't care about Foxconn's attitude to the warranty, the Blood Rage is great board for overclocking and playing with, but this mix alone won't be right for everyone - you've got to really want it.

To disclose fully, we have never been contacted by Foxconn’s PR team that handles its motherboards in the USA, if there is one. So we have not had any support for the issues we have stated here which we usually do have access to in our reviews. It is much more our goal to show you board issues and solutions to those issues rather than just saying, "This is broke, hope you have better luck than we did.

HEXUS‘s review Edit

As an X58 board aimed at the enthusiast, the Foxconn Bloodrage is a fine effort, from looks to performance. We would have given it a coveted recommendation had it shipped with six DIMM slots.

AnandTech‘s review Edit

Anyway, let's not dwell on those aspects for too long; what matters is whether the Blood Rage really delivers on the promise of its super-charged appearance. Although this first look will concentrate mainly on the overclocking side of things, we'll also be telling you what we like so far and what, if anything, makes us grit our teeth. By the way, the board has performed like any other X58 based product in application and game testing so no worries on that end.

xbitlabs‘s review Edit

I believe that Foxconn BloodRAGE will be a perfect fit only for true overclocking lover, for those who really enjoy the process and not just the result. These users will get if not an unlimited field for experiments then at least a very big one, a ton of opportunities for exciting experiments aimed at finding the most optimal combination of closely connected settings.

tweaktown‘s review Edit

Foxconn has managed to not only make a board that looks good in cases with side windows, but also has many features such as SAS and eSATA along with external audio. The board is very impressive.
