Huawei Ascend Pro Reviews

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The TapouT Edition of the Huawei Ascend may appeal to some mixed martial arts fans looking to wear their allegiance on their sleeves, but it's not a very good smartphone underneath all the glitz.

Phone Scoop‘s review Edit

Best of all, in some key ways, like call quality and the overall look and feel of the device, the Huawei Ascend doesn’t feel cheap. If you’re a Cricket fan, or a contract hater, looking for a real smartphone at a reasonable price, the Huawei Ascend is an easy phone to recommend.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The Huawei Ascend would be an acceptable choice if it was the only Android phone available on MetroPCS, but it's not. The LG Optimus M costs $80 more than the Ascend at the time of this writing. The Optimus M is easily worth the extra cash; you get a more recent Android build, better screen calibration, and more responsive performance.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

Though poor call quality sours the Huawei Ascend, this well-priced smartphone delivers Android-based computing features to prepaid users at a great price.
