GIGABYTE GA-MA785G-UD3H (rev. 1.0) Pro Reviews

bjorn3d‘s review Edit

The GA-MA785G-UD3H motherboard did exactly what I had set in mind to do with this motherboard. Even if i had no idea how to do that task. I set my self a goal to push that little AMD dual core too new levels. This motherboard did exactly that, it was not as complicated as I thought it was going to be. Since I am not an avid AMD user I really dont know if 3.15GHZ on a AMD 4000+ 2.1 Brisbane CPU is good or average. I like to think it is a fairly decent little overclock, that the GA-MA785G-UD3H (sometimes gotta love copy and pasting motherboard names) gave me with very little trouble.

The bottom line is that the Gigabyte GA-MA785G-UD3H motherboard is a cost-effective AMD 785G platform, in particular for existing PCs powered by a socket AM2 AMD processor. If your current AMD chip is socket AM2, you should consider a board like Gigabyte GA-MA785G-UD3H as a quick way to extend your initial PC investment a little further.

overclockersclub‘s review Edit

All in all, the boards performed very well. None were absolutely a shocker when it came to overclocking or blowing away one another, but they are designed to provide decent power at a minimal price and that is exactly what they do. Priced $90 - $124 depending on the model you choose, you will have a solid platform for your computing needs. If you are in the market for a mid range board without all the frills of the higher end ones, then the Gigabyte lineup would be a big asset to your systems.

HotHardware‘s review Edit

The GA-MA785G-UD3H is the only board in the group that has two FireWire headers, both of which are located along the bottom edge. The three USB headers are located in a rather poor position directly above the second PCI-E x16 slot. This location might cause the USB headers to interfere with the nearby PCI-E x1 slot, though this is likely avoidable with five PCI-E slots to choose from. Just like the other two boards, the UD3H only offers three fan connectors.
