All in all, the boards performed very well. None were absolutely a shocker when it came to overclocking or blowing away one another, but they are designed to provide decent power at a minimal price and that is exactly what they do. The only drawback that I have with the majority of the boards, with the exception of the 790X board, is that the SATA ports become blocked or partially blocked when using large video cards. It would be nice to have all the boards using the 90 degree SATA ports like the 790X board has to eliminate the issue.

PC Pro‘s review Edit

With no onboard buttons and no IGP, the Gigabyte is perhaps not the obvious basis for a cheap and cheerful DIY system. But with support for up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM – at speeds up to 1.66GHz – and an 8-pin CPU connector, it’s a solid board that promises a long life.

xbitlabs‘s review Edit

Numerous “splinters” like that, which we have encountered during our work with Gigabyte MA790XT-UD4P mainboard do not let us award it with a winning title. We would rank it as B+ (with A high), or A- at best.

extremeoverclocking‘s review Edit

Overall I'm very pleased with GIGABYTE's MA790XT-UD4P motherboard, it offers an excellent set of features at an affordable price. There are no major issues with this board that I can think of that stand out in my mind. I know I didn't mention it much in this review, but this board is an excellent overclocker, and is usually my board of choice when doing AMD processor reviews.
