The Gigabyte MA770T-UD3P is currently on sale at newegg.com for $79.99. At that the price, the issues we had with the heatsink and layout are easily forgivable. It may not have all the bells and whistles of higher-priced motherboards, but it gets the job done and offers great performance in the process. If you're looking to build a new single-GPU AM3 system, this is definitely one of the better values out there and a perfect mate to AMD's new Athlon II processors.

All in all, the boards performed very well. None were absolutely a shocker when it came to overclocking or blowing away one another, but they are designed to provide decent power at a minimal price and that is exactly what they do. Priced $90 - $124 depending on the model you choose, you will have a solid platform for your computing needs. If you are in the market for a mid range board without all the frills of the higher end ones, then the Gigabyte lineup would be a big asset to your systems.

The Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P is a motherboard that should help anyone needing to build a system do it, even in tough economic times, without feeling like you are getting a basement bargain item. It is fast, easy to use and affordable. What more could you ask for?

However, Gigabyte MA770T-UD3P is not an ideal product. It does have certain design flaws, is equipped with a cooling system of doubtful efficiency, doesn’t support C1E technology and doesn’t work at clock generator frequency increased beyond 330 MHz. Moreover, some users may be unhappy that there is only one PCI express x16 slot or that some other interfaces or features are missing. But once you look at the price tag, you will be easy to forgive Gigabyte MA770T-UD3P a lot of things, trust me. That is why we expect Gigabyte MA770T-UD3P to become a highly demanded popular solution very soon.

We'd like to thank Gigabyte for providing the MA770T-UD3P for our review today. This board really gave me alot to think about in terms of the saturation of great PC components with great price tags on the market today. PC builders really need to assess their specific needs for their computers to determine what they actually need their PCs to do and what functions they need them to perform.
