GIGABYTE GA-P35-DQ6 (rev. 1.0) Pro Reviews

HardwareZone‘s review Edit

It would be a lie to say that Gigabyte has not been successful with their Ultra Durable line of motherboards. They can even be credited for the push to make full solid capacitor motherboards one of the 'must haves' in high quality, high performance boards today. The 'DQ6' motherboard was created to epitomize Gigabyte's top engineering efforts to bring the most robust, most powerful enthusiast board into the market. It was however, overshadowed by the simpler and more economical 'DS3' series, which proved to perform just as well and overclocked even better.

Both the Asus P5K Deluxe and the Gigabyte P35-DQ6 motherboards were impressive, but the robust heat pipes on the Gigabyte motherboard paired with the added overclocking options that it has as well makes it my best choice for the first wave of P35 products.

TechSpot‘s review Edit

Now here is an exciting motherboard that could melt the ECS P35T-A should they be placed too close together. The Gigabyte P35-DQ6 looks significantly more impressive than the ECS on paper, and even at twice the price the P35-DQ6 still seems to be a better buy to us. The Gigabyte P35-DQ6 was one of the first Intel P35 motherboards that I laid my hands on roughly three months ago now. The P35-DQ6 is the bigger and more expensive version of the P35-DS4 which we also have also included in this roundup.
