Samsung Galaxy Apollo Pro Reviews

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

The Samsung Galaxy 580 Android smartphone is compact and feature packed, but it remains overpriced compared to alternatives, particularly the excellent LG Optimus One.

reghardware‘s review Edit

Apart from being a low-cost Android phone, I struggle to see what the Galaxy Apollo adds to the Samsung line-up. It’s social networking features may well appeal to its target audience of younger users, but it’s not like these functions don’t appear on other Samsung handsets. Still, there is one standout feature of the Galaxy Apollo – on the Orange-branded version at least, it has a silver fascia where Samsung usually opts for black.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

The Apollo has a lot going for it thanks to its speedy performance, multi-touch support, and good battery life. However, the small screen means that it can feel a little bit fiddly to use for web browsing and although it’s not exactly priced to an excessive level, it does look expensive next to the cheaper Orange San Francisco that we’ll be looking at soon.

GSMArena‘s review Edit

You might want to point to the camera as another downside, but you really can’t expect more in this price range. And videos aside, the camera on the Samsung I5800 Galaxy 3/I5801 Galaxy Apollo is good enough to update your profile on Facebook. We said that the Galaxy duo is lower-mid range but let’s see who its main competition might be.
