ASUS P6T6 WS Revolution Pro Reviews

hardocp‘s review Edit

The ASUS P6T6 WS Revolution looks to be a great motherboard both in terms of stability and performance. Its "legacy free" approach will be appreciated by many and scorned by others. Sadly if you are looking at buying this board for its true x16 bandwidth for 3-Way SLI or CrossFireX beyond two slots, I would in no way suggest buying one currently. Given that we have had no reply from ASUS in 10 days about our issues, I am guessing it saw the exact same problems and is trying to figure out how to fix them. If any of our readers have a different 3-Way SLI experience, please let us know.

The ASUS P6T6 WS Revolution board has just about everything you're going to need, including high speed Server class storage through SAS as well as support for up to six PCIe x16 graphics cards. At 369.99 USD from Newegg, this board has some good value attached.

motherboards‘s review Edit

ASUS has done a superlative job with the P6T6 WS Revolution motherboard. This board scored among the highest of any X58 motherboards in terms of features and performance nearly across the board. ASUS bills this motherboard as the ultimate workstation board and that may truly be the case. To facilitate this, the board has six PCI Express x16 graphics slots, allowing for a six video card solution, SAS drives, WS LED, and WS Heartbeat.

HotHardware‘s review Edit

Looking at the performance profile of the Asus P6T6 WS Revolution in totality, the product lived up to its high-end design target in every way. In standard desktop and workstation application performance, the board consistently was the fastest of the lot that we tested it against, one of which was a fairly mature offering from MSI. Though admittedly, the performance delta between most all X58 Express-based boards currently is going to be thin and bordering on insignificant. That said, the P6T6 WS Revolution offered exceptional overclocking capabilities and unwavering stability, along with top end performance in our high-end gaming tests with a 3-Way SLI graphics subsystem in play.
