ASUS P6T Deluxe Pro Reviews

hardocp‘s review Edit

I think we are lucky to have such a robust and stable motherboard this early on in the Core i7 game. The ASUS P6T Deluxe has shown up at a couple of retailers between $313 and $336 in North America, but keep in mind the Intel X58 chipset nor the Intel Core i7 processors have officially launched yet. That will come later in November. The ASUS P6T Deluxe proved to be a joy to work with and was one of the easier overclocking experiences I have ever had. There is not much more to say beyond the P6T is stable, fast, and feature rich.

AnandTech‘s review Edit

When it comes to performance, the word balanced was the first thought in our minds. The P6T Deluxe offers the best video performance of the boards we tested while providing class leading performance in the majority of our application benchmarks. The board also features an array of options including Serial Attached SCSI controller support, SLI and CrossFire, very good on-board audio capabilities, eSATA and Firewire, and enough USB ports to make one forget about needing a hub. Based on the layout, this is the board we would recommend for 2x SLI or CrossFire users, plus you get the bonus of class leading video performance.

HardwareZone‘s review Edit

ASUS has sent us an early version of one of its X58 motherboards, the ASUS P6T Deluxe, which was previously mentioned here. This motherboard will support up to 24GB of DDR3-1333 memory, thanks to its six DIMM slots. It will also have features like a Serial Attached SCSI controller to support higher-end SAS hard drives for power users who desire enterprise class performance.

Even with the high price, the ASUS P6T Deluxe looks to be a fantastic motherboard for early adopters of the Intel Core i7 processor by offering up a host of unique features as well as a BIOS that would make most enthusiast overclockers envious. The idle power consumption and CPU clock ratio issues are minor annoyances to anyone that is really going to be stressing the platform so I am hesitant to put any weight to those issues in my conclusion.

TechSpot‘s review Edit

The Asus P6T Deluxe is possibly the best motherboard we have seen so far this year, partly due to the evident hard work put in by Asus, and partly because the Core i7 platform is just so darn impressive. Asus helped make this motherboard special by including features such as the true 16+2 phase power design, Express Gate SSD, onboard SAS support, and many others.
