SanDisk Sansa Fuze+ Pro Reviews

hardwaresecrets‘s review Edit

The Fuze+ delivers solid quality and great functionality at a very affordable price. If you can live with its erratic touchpad, it is a bargain. If SanDisk can make the touchpad more consistently responsive, it will have a real iPod killer in this product.

SanDisk has been in the MP3 Player Market for years now and has made a great little device when it comes to audio quality and user interface (though it is glossy); it is an excellent value at $74 at the time of writing.

Sandisk's latest update to the Fuze player sounds good but an awkward touch interface makes it a pale shadow of the previous model.

Engadget‘s review Edit

Given the features offered for the price (starting at just $80 for the 4GB model), we really wanted to like the Sansa Fuze+. Unfortunately, the interface is something of a deal-breaker for us -- there's just too many other more elegant and usable options out there (iPod or otherwise) for us to see us using it on a day-to-day basis. If you're able to try it out yourself first and think you can live with its shortcomings, however, you won't likely be disappointed with the rest of the player, and we're certainly still curious to see if SanDisk or someone else is able to improve on the capacitive touch panel idea in a future player.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

If you can live with the ropey interface, the Sansa Fuze+ proves a capable, reasonably priced media player. However, there are plenty of other players out there that offer a better user experience for similar, or less, money.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

You can find smaller or cheaper MP3 players, but you won't find a better value than the Sansa Fuze+ in terms of dollars per features.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

If you live outside the iTunes ecosystem, the Sansa Fuze+ offers better features than either the Apple iPod nano or the iPod shuffle and is priced to compete with both players.
