VIZIO VF551XVT Pro Reviews

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

Despite an uninspired design and some minor issues, the 55-inch, LED-based Vizio VF551XVT delivers an overall solid picture and is one of the best big-screen HDTV bargains you'll find.

Audioholics‘s review Edit

The Vizio VF551XVT is a steal. We even found this TV at our local warehouse store for under $1800. At that price it's no wonder they are flying off the shelves. It's also not just inexpensive, it's got some excellent quality and features that are sure to please most viewers. While it could stand to do a little better out of the box, we were able to dial in, with just user controls, most of the color to a reasonably acceptable near-reference level.

Digital Trends‘s review Edit

Vizio’s VF551XVT offers full-array LED backlighting on a budget, if you can stomach the dingy industrial design.

Home Theater‘s review Edit

At $2,200, the VF551XVT is the least expensive 55-inch local-dimming LCD available, which makes it mighty attractive to cash-strapped TV shoppers. How well does it fulfill the promise of LED backlighting?

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

Sure, it has a few flaws, but nothing fatal prevents the local dimming, LED-backlit Vizio VF551XVT from exhibiting excellent LCD picture quality for the buck.
