Corsair HS1 Pro Reviews

www.pcper.com‘s review Edit

Corsair created a comfortable, closed-back design that helps reject ambient noise - even in high-distraction environments like LAN parties. They also created custom cans that use replaceable memory foam ear pads that conform to the shape of your head without binding or pinching. The uni-directional, noise-cancelling microphone on an adjustable boom enables clear, low-noise voice chat.

The HS1NA's visual appearance may seem is a little plain, as it surely looks that way from the box art and packaging. However the aluminum silver and leathery textures give it a nice high-end feel. The design is mature and suits a more diverse age group. Even if you're not a gamer this headset could still be a good purchase because of its excellent performance.

Known as a memory maker, Corsair releases its first headset, the HS1. It is a 7.1 surround USB model good for gaming, listening to stereo music and enjoying DVDs and Blu-Rays with Dolby sound.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

Design-wise, the HS1 gets everything right. The headphones themselves are fully hinged on the brace so that the entire bulky kit folds down for taking to LAN events and the like. Once unravelled, the build quality is excellent and while adjusting the position of the ear cuffs is a little stiff, once it's on your head it's an exceptionally comfy set of cans. You should find the HS1 unobtrusive for however many hours you game.

The HS1 from Corsair is a great headset at a really impressive price point. There’s no other way to put it. Combining some excellent material choice with first grade construction make this a discerning choice for all media buffs far and wide before any audio is played at all.

The Corsair HS1 USB Gaming Headset doesn't do much for us visually, but if you buy a pair of gaming headsets by external appearance alone you are going to be stuck with a pair of headset that more than likely sounds like crap. Once you get past the either loved or hated look of the HS-1 headphones, you'll notice the super thick and plush soft fabric ear cups and heavily padded headband.
