Samsung SCX-3205W Pro Reviews

ITreviews‘s review Edit

Packing in a whole host of features and with a price of just £129, it's hardly surprising Samsung looks to claw back some money in terms of replacement toner. While this will no doubt send those looking to print frequent large documents elsewhere, the SCX-3205W is a great buy for a typical home office environment. The inclusion of wired and wireless networking is also impressive, as is overall print quality. In short, it's a great little multifunction laser for those on a tight budget.

A good-looking and affordable MFP that's let down only by slightly high running costs. The SCX-3205W is highly recommended for light printing duties.

Still, it’s a do-it-all printer and copier for just £107, and although it comes with an annoying 700-page starter cartridge in the box, a full 1,500-page cartridge will get you a reasonable cost of 2.9p per A4 page. Whether that adds up to a bargain depends on your viewpoint: adding a scanner to the top of a £63 printer and charging double certainly looks steep, but if you just want a runaround laser for the office, the addition of a copier adds a lot of budget appeal.
