The Canon Pixma MG5250 exceeds expectations in many areas, and offers quality and features that you wouldn't expect for under £100.

ITreviews‘s review Edit

If you're happy to pay the extra £30 or so, the PIXMA MG5250 improves on its cheaper sibling by adding wireless connectivity and direct-from-disk printing, while also speeding up the printing process - photo quality is excellent but black text documents let the side down.

reghardware‘s review Edit

Discounted by up to £40 in some places, this is a cracking family all-in-one for the price, and the ink cartridges are affordable at under £25 for a complete set of five. However, you’ll empty several sets of ink cartridges long before the dispatch of festive snaps is over.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

Comparing the Canon PIXMA MG5250 with its cheaper stablemate shows that, in this case, you get what you pay for. The extra £30 buys you a noticeably faster printer, which also supports wireless network connection and direct print on CDs and DVDs. Print quality is generally very good, though duplex black print is a bit insipid and print speed is also good, though again duplex results are weaker.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

If the black ink yield can be believed, the Canon PIXMA MG5250 is a relatively cheap printer to run. It's a strong performer in almost all other areas as well, making its £149 asking price more than reasonable.
