EVGA GeForce GTX 295 Plus Pro Reviews

Fudzilla‘s review Edit

It didn't take long for us to grow fond of the GTX 295, and no wonder. Although it's a dual PCB card featuring a "sandwich desing", the temperatures are good and it's not too loud. For those who crave gaming on 2560x1600 resolution - look no further, as this card packs enough punch to take it in stride, but lesser resolutions, of course, won't be a problem either as it leaves the competition behind by a hefty margin. So, in closing, we had no choice but to reward this card with our Fudzilla Recommended award. And on that note, hurry up until the stocks last.

Fudzilla‘s review Edit

Don’t expect this card to be cheap as it will set you back more than 700 euros, but note that the GTX 280 was introduced at a similar price point, and has proven to be a nice seller. One thing is for certain – the GTX 295 HydroCopper is the fastest card money can currently buy, and to say that this card is just fast would be a severe understatement. Since this is undoubtfully the fastest card, we've ever tried, it was an easy decision to recommend it.

motherboards‘s review Edit

From a performance point of view, if you're looking for the fastest card there really isn't much choice but to go with the GeForce GTX295 as it offers blistering performance in the latest games with the highest resolutions and settings enabled. EVGA offers excellent support with Lifetime Warranty, Toll-Free Technical Support 24/7 and the 90 day Step Up Program that can't be beat. Buy two of these cards and you'll have the ultimate in performance bar none. One thing to note is the card is $549.99 online, making it expensive but if you want uncompromising performance sometimes you have to pay the price. EVGA also offers Crazy Machines 2 and you get Call Of Duty: World At War if you purchase this card from Newegg. Overall this is one fast card that qualifies for our Hot Product Award, if it had been one of the faster overclocked versions it would have won an Editor's Choice.

Ultimately though, the EVGA GeForce GTX 295 Plus offers killer performance and stands out in a sea of stock reference cards. If you've got the funds and are looking for a graphics card in its class, do yourself a favor and check out the EVGA GeForce GTX 295 Plus.

hardwarecanucks‘s review Edit

All in all, there is a lot to like about Nvidia’s GTX 295 but there are some major points of contention as well. There is no one-size-fits-all solution out there for those of you looking to buy a new GPU but if you are in the market for extremely good performance at ultra high resolutions with a lifetime warranty to boot, this card may be just what the doctor ordered.
