LG Quantum Pro Reviews

phonedog‘s review Edit

If you need the physical keyboard, the LG Quantum is your device. Otherwise, there's more to like in the HTC Surround and Samsung Focus.

Phone Scoop‘s review Edit

The LG Quantum combines mostly good hardware with a solid smartphone operating system. Though it still looks a bit too much like a feature phone for my tastes, I am sure many people won't look at it that way. The Quantum is heavy and dense, but offers a roomy QWERTY keyboard for messaging and a fantastic display. Would I recommend the LG Quantum? Yes, yes I would. It's as solid a smartphone as any on the market, though it's not a quantum leap forward.

Phone Arena‘s review Edit

If you happen to have $200 stuffed in your pockets right now and itch to get into Windows Phone 7 in a hurry, then there is no other handset you should look at other than the Samsung Focus to truly experience the best that the new platform has to offer. Of course the LG Quantum is still a respectable solution, but when it's priced evenly as the Focus, there is no arguing where you should place your gaze.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The LG Quantum's QWERTY keyboard will win some users over, but Windows Phone 7 needs to cope better with landscape mode for a keyboard to be a great experience.

Phone Arena‘s review Edit

If you really despise using touch-only input options, then the selection for Windows Phone 7 devices on AT&T's lineup is primarily limited to the LG Quantum, for right now. However, the inconsistent experience with the platform not being optimized for landscape use can be a hindrance for some. Still, it proves itself to be a decent offering as it accentuates all the core aspects that Windows Phone 7 radiates. Is it by chance a quantum leap over existing devices? Clearly no. But it still personifies a well rounded experience that offers the additional convenience factor of a physical keyboard.

Some design issues aside, the LG Quantum is a solid Windows Phone device with a spacious QWERTY keyboard for messaging fanatics.
