The MSI NX8800GTS-T2D320E-HD-OC goes further by having overclocked stream processors that have clock speeds on par with the GeForce 8800 GTX. This kind of overclocking is usually invisible to consumers since NVIDIA's nTune utility does not display this information. Once you factor in the overclocking and the attractive game, the MSI NX8800GTS-T2D320E-HD-OC looks like a really good deal.

The noise of the cooler may be a bit louder to our ears for the MSI and the bundle's disappointing lack of any third party games or applications but that's about the extent of its flaws. Unfortunately, with competition from its 512MB counterpart, price becomes a very crucial factor when it came to deciding which version to get.

There really isn’t much bad you can say about this card - launch price on a card that is able to perform as well as this is actually very good, bundle is a bit lacking but in all honesty this is happening more and more with graphics cards. Performance? Well you can’t say anything bad about it.

nVidia SLI dual graphics is a great technology as we’ve always said that and it’s really fallen into the market well since its inception sometime ago now.

Of the two cards I’ve looked at today it’s an obvious choice. The MSI is nearly £25 more expensive than the BFG and it is slower – though by a pretty small fraction. It’s great that MSI has included Company of Heroes but it seems you’re also paying over the odds to have it. You’d be better off getting the BFG and buying Company of Heroes separately if you really want that particular game.
