Samsung ST50 Pro Reviews

expertreviews‘s review Edit

The ST50 lives up to its promise, taking care of all those tedious camera settings so that casual photographers can get on with "exploring what's inside" them, whatever that might involve. The resulting pictures won't be fantastic, but they'll be reliably respectable. This camera has its quirks, and it's frustrating that Smart Auto brings clear benefits but also tarnishes performance and makes important features inaccessible. However, the ST50 costs around £50 less than we would expect for such a stylish camera.

ITreviews‘s review Edit

Attractive, slim and sturdily constructed on the outside, the ST50 is nevertheless something of a mixed blessing, with above average video capability and some clever image effects, yet the finished images lack quality and the Auto Smart mode is not as bright as it thinks it is.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

The Samsung ST50 is an attractive and well-built digital camera. It is a great camera for the price that also takes equally impressive images (both indoors and out). The quality of the CCD is good for the price, but it's the ease of use and the overall feel of this camera that are most impressive.

Pocket-lint‘s review Edit

So it is something of a mixed bag. The single connection, while giving you a neat in-camera charging option, does mean that you need bespoke cables to use the camera wherever you go. The lack of HD video is an obvious set back for those with a large screen TV at home.
