Brother HL-3040CN Pro Reviews

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The Brother HL-3040CN provides fast color laser printing and decent paper capacity for its price, for a home or micro office. It is fine for printing text, but its color printing quality for both graphics and photos was sub-par. The Editors' Choice Dell 1350cnw provides higher-quality graphics and WiFi connectivity, though it has lower paper capacity (160 sheets). The HL-3040CN may be the better choice for micro offices with a relatively high printing volume, but the Dell has the edge in color printing quality (particularly for graphics). It holds on to its Editors' Choice—by a thread.

A neat, LED-based printer with good colour and speed, though a little more expensive to run than some competitors.

A sturdy color-laser-class workhorse, the $299 HL-3040CN is capably fast for the price and ships with excellent networking utilities for small offices.

A competent but not outstanding colour LED printer. Its high running costs mean it's best avoided.
