XFX HD-585A-ZNF7 Pro Reviews

motherboards‘s review Edit

ATI has two products on their list which are game-changing in the fact that they will likely be the only DirectX 11 supporting video cards on the market until 2010 when the consumer version of the Fermi architecture announced by NVIDIA yesterday will be released. Until then, they have the highest performing chip in the HD 5870 and a very high performing chip in the form of the HD 5850 which costs $120 less than the HD 5870. XFX’s card is a reference design with the same performance and clock speeds of the other reference cards but you get their wonderful support and a copy of Dirt 2 when it is released. If performance in BattleForge is any indication this card will run DirectX 11 games just fine and if you really want the ultimate in performance buy two of these cards and Crossfire them to get higher performance than a single GTX295.

hardwarecanucks‘s review Edit

If you are in the market for a new graphics card the HD 5850 represents an extremely good value for your hard earned money. XFX just adds to that by including two things that are unique among ATI’s board partners: a Double Lifetime warranty and excellent customer support. Value, performance, DX11 capabilities and a lifetime warranty; we really couldn’t ask anything more of a graphics card.
