ZOTAC AMP! GeForce GTX 480 Pro Reviews

HotHardware‘s review Edit

To wrap things up, we must admit this card is not for everyone. Its price alone keeps it out of reach for most consumers. In addition, its triple slot form factor might be a deal-breaker for consumers who can't afford to lose an extra expansion slot. But anyone looking to purchase a high end graphics card like the GTX 480 should definitely take note. The AMP! Edition offers considerable advantages over a reference design model.

HEXUS‘s review Edit

ZOTAC has achieved what seemed practically impossible a couple of months ago by selecting the very best GTX 480 GPUs from NVIDIA and then cooling them with an aftermarket heatsink from Zalman.

Tom's Hardware‘s review Edit

The Zalman cooler fixes a good chunk of the criticism that the GeForce GTX 480 faces in the way of noise and high GPU temperatures. The extra $10 saves you from having to tear Nvidia's reference cooler off (risking delicate memory ICs in the process) and attach the Zalman unit. We still consider that a win. And, it comes with a five-year warranty.
