Lexmark’s E360dn is a very serviceable mono laser printer, with a high duty cycle of 6,000 pages per month. It prints clean, sharp text and does so quickly, though not nearly as quickly as the company claims. Running costs sit in the middle of the field and the asking price is comparatively low, so this printer should be well up your short list.

With super-fast print speeds, low running costs and a built-in duplex unit, the E360dn from Lexmark is a decent laser printer for small businesses or individuals who print large volumes. However, these features also mean it's not cheap. If you're not so fussed about speeds, far slower alternatives such as the Brother HL-5380DN and Konica Minolta Magicolor 1600W are a fair bit cheaper and offer colour printing.

In today’s world, where multifunction printers seem to be all the rage, I really liked the Phaser 6280DN single function printer because it did everything Xerox advertised it would. To me, that’s important because often I find that print speeds are inflated or print quality leaves something to be desired.

CONCLUSION The Lexmark E360DN is one of the best monochrome laser printers I've reviewed. It offers great features, fast print speeds, and good print quality for a decent price. I realize that not every office needs a monochrome single function laser printer but for those that do, the E360dn is an excellent option.
