Lexmark X543dn Pro Reviews

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

Lexmark’s X543dn is a novel machine, which prints quite quickly and offers duplex print as standard. Useful expansion via an optional paper tray mitigates against a slightly meagre 250-sheet standard provision. Printed output is ideal for attention-grabbing business documents, but too bright for those containing photos. Running costs, particularly for colour, are high.

computershopper‘s review Edit

The X543dn is a relatively inexpensive, fast, and trouble-free multifunction color laser printer designed for the SOHO market. Print and copy quality, however, is good, not great.

PC World‘s review Edit

Lexmark's X543dn color laser multifunction printer offers budget-strapped small offices or workgroups a few nice features at a tempting starting price ($599 as of April 6, 2009). Unfortunately, its expensive toner makes it suitable for light-volume use only.

ITreviews‘s review Edit

This is a good, general-purpose office and small workgroup colour machine, supporting a wide range of computing platforms and with reasonably quick duplex print as standard. However, it's more bulky than some and prints colour slowly. It's also arguable that a 250-sheet paper tray is too small for this class of printer.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

Lexmark's X543dn has a low enough sticker price to appeal to small offices and workgroups. Because of its exorbitant toner costs, however, we'd recommend it only for light use.
